Aloha!
The new year has definitely been keeping me busy, so I’ve decided to blog (okay, spam my blog with pictures) before school starts and makes my life hell for the last time (I’M GRADUATING THIS SEMESTER!!!!!!)
Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE school; for the friends and the yongtaufu, oh and learning (though i hate exams; I am not one to believe in committing everything to memory and having them grade us based on our memory skills – I thought we were tested about what we LEARNED, not what we are able to MEMORIZE? – Okay end of mini rant)
So the past two weeks I have…
Tried making rainbow pancakes.
Really, they’re just normal pancakes with food coloring.
They’re really pretty pre-cooked, and looked a lot like Play-Doh after cooking

& cycled at ECP with Chee and his family.
Had dinner at Ramen Champion and had a surprising treat from Starbucks
Met up with the Marblettes
Owing to Pix’s recommendation, we tried Pasta Brava, which was good, but a tad bit overpriced if you asked me.
I still prefer Ricotti.

Nat was kind enough to bring macrons from TWG.
I’m seriously a sucker for these baked goods.
The Pandan one is … Immaculate, to say the least.
Met up with Claudia & Yvelyn
I think the sub-heading pretty much gave it away.
Had a really quick lunch at Celede with Yve and Claudia (Rachael was tardy as usual, but this time she had a legitimate reason to be late so I forgave her pretty quickly)
It was really nice to catch up with Yvelyn, someone who I haven’t seen in over a year – she studies in UWA.
Fun fact: She has a cat!
Francis came down to meet me after lunch and we caught Les Miserables.
Not Miserables (miz(ə)rəbəl), but mizeʁabl; French is such a weird subject
Anyway, I know it’s gay but besides the Anne Hattaway song, my favorite is “Do you hear the people sing”

Bestfriends trip to JB!
On Friday Daddy drove us to JB for breakfast!
I must say it was a really fulfilling breakfast.
I also got my ends trimmed, and daddy was the ultimate spoiler! He didn’t let me dipdye my hair and accused me of being an ah-lian for wanting to do so…
in the evening I joined Francis and family at Ku De Ta to celebrate his mother and Gabriel’s birthday

after dinner we walked around MBS for a while before heading down to Mink.
Thanks Sheryl & Shalom for the Guestlist!

I love this potato.
Truly truly.
Friday morning was hectic because I had to rush to do the housework before flying over to Rachael’s house to meet linds for a swim.
Had thai food with the girls before going home to crash.
It was really good but exhausting day.
Repairing

So that was my week/ year so far.
Now I need to go ransack my house for my missing top.
Urgh, I really hate it when I can’t find clothes in my house – especially if it’s new…
Goodnight folks!

Rainbow pancakes?!?! What a cute idea! Especially for Valentine’s day… ;o). Great pics!
haha yep! just make sure it isn’t too done because it’ll look black/charred on the surface (it cooks really fast)
